Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is the Pre-Enrollment Course?

A: As a prerequisite to enrolling in Pharmacy Technicians University, you must successfully pass a pre-enrollment course. This course consists of a policies and procedures section, and an assessment section, which includes a reading assessment and a math assessment.

Q: What is a passing score for the reading assessment and the math assessment? How much time do I have to take each assessment?

A: You need to pass the assessments with a score of 70% or better. You’ll have 3 tries to do so. You have 1 hour to complete the reading assessment of 14 questions. You have 1½ hours to complete the math assessment of 24 questions.

Q: What happens if I don’t pass the reading assessment and/or math assessment?

A: If you don’t pass the reading and/or math assessment, you will not be able to be enrolled in Pharmacy Technicians University. Please talk to your Pharmacy Manager about the next steps.

Q: How do I go back and review the material I’ve completed?

A: Click on the “My Programs” tab found on the left-hand side of your dashboard, then click on the name of the program. A list of sections will come up. Open up the section you want and the courses in that section will show with a review button. Click on this ‘review’ button to bring up the activities in the course. You will be able to click on an activity to review the material.

Q: How many times can I take a quiz or exam?

A: You will have unlimited attempts to pass each quiz and 3 attempts to pass each unit or midterm exam, with a score of 80% or better. Review quizzes are optional, and you will be given unlimited attempts to pass them. 

Q: How many times can I take the final exam?

A: You have 3 tries to successfully pass the final exam, with a score of 75% or better.
