Join us on November 13-15 and November 28-30, 2023, for multiple days of virtual training spread over two weeks on Best Practices for Nonhazardous Sterile-to-Sterile Compounding and Designated Person Administrative Best Practices.

Best paired together, these trainings are designed to support requirements for designated persons while including expert instruction on evaluating labs and 503B facilities, creating an environmental monitoring program, and more.

When: November 13-15 & November 28-30, 2023
Where: Anywhere! These virtual trainings can be attended from the comfort of your home or wherever you may train best.
Who: These trainings are designed for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, designated persons, and pharmacy leaders.
Registration Cost: $4,200 for both trainings

Both trainings deliver high-quality, cost-effective education while covering CriticalPoint's best practices and USP requirements related to the 2022 USP <797> updates.

Participants can earn up to 33 live ACPE credits for the 6 days of training, which will include lively discussions as well as practicum learning exercises that simulate real-life work scenarios. You’ll also have access to best practice reference cards, certification references, cleaning agent charts, job aids, and more.

Prework, consisting of 16.5 hours of self-study CE courses, is required and will be assigned through CriticalPoint’s Learning Management system (LMS) once the participants have been enrolled.

Our Speakers

Latousha (Tasha) P. Jackson, PharmD, BCPS, BCSCP

Tasha is a Virginia native who received her bachelor of science in biology degree from Norfolk State University. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Pharmacy degree

Tasha is a Virginia native who received her bachelor of science in biology degree from Norfolk State University. She then went on to receive her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Medical College of Virginia (Virginia Commonwealth School of Pharmacy) in 2004. After receiving her degree, she began her career in health system pharmacy practice at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. After several years of health system pharmacy practice in areas such as internal medicine, critical care and pharmacy distribution, Dr. Jackson obtained Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS).

Her experiences in hospital pharmacy practice and news of the New England Compounding Center tragedy inspired a desire to shift her practice into sterile compounding and patient safety. With renewed focus and training she relocated to North Carolina to serve as Pharmacist Administrative Coordinator – Sterile Products at the Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro NC. Prior to joining the CriticalPoint team, served as the Compounding and Hazardous Medication Compliance Program Manager with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Durham, NC. Dr. Jackson also obtained Board Certification in Compounded Sterile Preparations (BCSCP).

Adam holds the Registered Certification Professional – Sterile Compounding Facilities (RCP-SCF) certification and NSF-49 accreditation.
